Our Mission

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-12

Priority of The Word

A primary distinctive of Living Streams is to declare to people the whole counsel of God. The Word of God is what builds us, corrects us and draws us closer to The Lord. We teach the Bible verse by verse, from Genesis to Revelation in its entirety. It is the Word of God through the Spirit of God that builds the believer.

Empowered by The Spirit

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.Jesus said; without me, you can do nothing. True ministry is not about programs or human ability. It is about the God working through us in the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe without that anointing our efforts are in vain.

Rapture of The Church

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Jesus plainly declared that he would
return to bring us home. Keeping that perspective is what keeps us on track in these last days. We are servants waiting for our Master’s return.

Supremacy of Love

By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another. Without love, all the gifts, knowledge and powers of the Holy Spirit are meaningless. We put great emphasis on our fellowship with each other and believe the true evidence of a growing relationship with Jesus is our love one to another.

JESUS CHRIST is the foundation and cornerstone of the church.

What We Believe

JESUS CHRIST – is the foundation and cornerstone of the church. He is God and took on a body of flesh. He came to restore man’s broken relationship with God. His finished work on the cross made that possible. Because of His love demonstrated on the cross by dying for our sins, we now have reason to fellowship with one another and proclaim salvation through His life, death, and resurrection. 1st Corinthians 3:11, Ephesians 2:20, Romans 5:6-10
WORSHIP – We believe God is worthy of all praise, reverence, and love. We take special time to worship Him in church through song. It is our goal to worship Him with our whole lives as well; at home, at work, and at play. John 15:5, Romans 8:29, Ephesians 4:15
THE BIBLE – is the inspired, infallible word of God and is relevant and applicable to man today. Therefore we place great emphasis upon teaching it in public, studying it in private, and using it as a guide for our daily lives. Our teaching ministry is expository and generally verse by verse through the Bible. We have found this to be the most effective method of teaching the Bible. Additionally the believer receives the whole counsel of God in the process and the teacher’s agenda is set by the Bible itself. 1st Timothy 4:13, 2nd Timothy 3:16-17, 1st Thessalonians 2:13

CHRISTIAN GROWTH – is essential. Our supreme desire is to know Jesus and to be conformed to His image, likeness, and example by the power of the Holy Spirit. We encourage this by abiding in Jesus Christ through His Word, prayer, fellowship, and by yielding our lives to the Holy Spirit. John 4:23, Colossians 3:16, 1st Thessalonians 2:13
LOVE – is the greatest virtue and demonstration of the reality of Christ Jesus. We endeavor to show a Christ-like love to all men. We embrace all of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit knowing they are for the edification of the body and the glorification of God. John 13:34-35, 1st Corinthians 13:13, Philippians 2:3-5, Hebrews 2:4, 1st Corinthians 14:26
SECOND COMING – We believe that after the tribulation period, Christ will come to earth to occupy the throne of David and establish His messianic kingdom for a thousand years on the earth. (Revelation 20:1-7; Ezekiel 37; Acts 1:10-11) We believe that the kingdom will be the fulfillment of God’s promise to Israel to restore them to the land promised to Abraham and to His promise to David to establish his kingdom. We believe that the Lord’s reign will be characterized by harmony, justice, peace, and righteousness. (Isaiah 11; 65:17-25; Ezekiel 36:33-38)
